After the series of bushings and ever larger tooling bits completely drill out the old bolt, The PMXPPT0120125-FRA machine-grade bottoming tap cuts and chases the threads all the way to the bottom of the bolt hole, providing a complete and secure connection. The guide bushing keeps the tap in proper position, minimizing the risk of misalignment and resulting in accurate and consistent thread cuts.
